Luciano ""Manuel"" Cantu

Luciano "Manuel" Cantu,76, of Temple passed away on Friday June 19, 2020 at a Temple nursing home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday June 25, 2020 at Oenaville Cemetery in Oenaville, Tx, with Father Cletus Ranjan officiating. Visitation 5-7pm and Rosary at 6p.m. Wednesday June 24th at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton, with Deacon Barney officiating. Luciano was born on April 17, 1944 to Eleazar and Tomasa Aguilar Cantu. Luciano worked on farms most of his life driving tractors. He loved barbecues and spending time with family and friends. He loved trucks and driving country roads and Tejano music. He married Shirley Grigsby on February 01, 1983 and she preceded him in death on November 22, 2006. Survivors are one son, Derek Heine; stepson, Billy Grigsby; one stepdaughter, Debra Crotty all of Temple; one daughter, Mary Gutierrez, of Victoria, Tx, one sister, Alice Ortiz and husband Ruben of Oenaville; ten grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
