Linda Kay Washburn

Linda Kay Washburn (Watson),76, of Belton passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at a Fort Worth hospital. 

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at North Belton Cemetery with Pastor Billy Johnson officiating.

Linda was born July 11, 1945, in Temple, Texas to Harold and Annie Privett Watson.  She married Rod Washburn on August 6, 1965, at Keys Valley Baptist Church in Belton, Texas.  She attended Sam Houston College.  Linda worked as a secretary for many years at Belton ISD where she later retired.  Linda was a member of Miller Heights Baptist Church in Belton.

Linda is survived by her husband, Rod Washburn of Belton; one son, Stephen Washburn and wife, Joan of Belton; one grandson.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Annie Watson; one son, Michael Washburn on December 1, 2020; one sister, Juanita Stringfellow.
