Lester Lynn Lawrence

Lester Lynn Lawrence, 63, of Killeen, TX. passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at a local hospital. A memorial service for Lester will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Friday, February 10, 2017 at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX. with a breakfast following at the IHOP restaurant located in Harker Heights, TX. Lester Lynn Lawrence was born on April 1, 1953 to Thomas and Jacklyn Lawrence of Sheboygan, WI. He was employed by the United States Army as a Mechanical Engineer for over 40 years, and he enjoyed going on vacations with his wife, Stella, in their RV, sports, ocean surf fishing, grilling outside, and spending time with his family. Lester's family and many friends will dearly miss his cooking, outgoing personality and his ability to turn any story into laughter. He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Lee Lawrence. Lester Lynn Lawrence is survived by his loving wife, Stella Lawrence of Killeen, TX. His mother, Jacklyn Lawrence of Sheboygan Falls, WI. His two sons, Joseph Lawrence of Peyton, CO. and Jonathan Lawrence of Killeen, TX. One daughter, Lisa Lawrence Thiels of Little Rock, AFB, AR. One brother, Thomas Lee Lawrence of Lakewood, CA. Three sisters, Wendy Lou Lawrence and Susan Lee Lawrence of Anaheim, CA., and Jacklyn Ruth Lawrence of Carson, CA. and seven grandchildren.
