Leon E.K. Brown

Leon E.K. Brown, 68, of Belton passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at his residence. A Graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 2, 2014 at Moffat Cemetery with Reverend Gene Berzley officiating. Leon E.K. Brown was born August 10, 1945 to Sude and Evelyn Brown in Belton. He served in the U.S. Marines and was a life member of VFW post 4008. He enjoyed spending time his family and especially his grandchildren. A visitation will be held Sunday, June 1, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton. He was preceded in death by two sons, Leon E.K. Brown Jr. , and Johnathan Verge; one daughter, Doris Wilson. He is survived by three sons, Ike ""Shane"" Faucett of Abilene, William Cox, and Gordon Verge both of Belton; three daughters, Leandra Crow of Belton, Dawnett Zamisz of Galveston, and Ronda Baker of Arkansas ;one brother, Darrell Brown of Belton; one sister, Frances Drake of Belton; thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
