Laura Anna Basquez

Laura Anna Basquez, 50, of Temple passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2021 in the comfort of her home. Laura was born to Elisea Conde and Nicanor Ruiz Sr. on December 28, 1970 in Taylor, Texas. She worked at Baylor Scott & White for many years, holding multiple positions. Laura was a simple woman who loved elephants, and loved her family even more. Laura will be dearly missed.

A memorial service for Laura will be held on Friday, April 09, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton.

Laura is survived by her daughter, Veronica Basquez of Temple; her brothers, Michael Ruiz, Nicanor Ruiz Jr., and Nicholas Ruiz, all of Temple; her nieces, Danessa Ruiz of Belton, Maddison Ruiz of Temple, and Emma Ruiz of Temple; and her nephew Michael Ruiz Jr. of Temple.

Laura is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Basquez Jr., and her parents Nicanor Ruiz Sr. and Elisea Conde.
