Latonya Washington, 46, of Harker Heights went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at her residence. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. A private life celebration will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 16, 2020 at Crotty Funeral Home with Pastor Chad Rowe officiating burial will follow at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen. Latonya was born on December 24, 1973 in Ackerman, MS to Roy Lee and Phyllis Bates. The meaning of her name is ""Mother of Many"" and that describes her giving caring heart and she was an amazing mother to her six daughters. She served her country in the Army for 2 years and worked as an Administrative Assistant most of her life. Latonya loved being an active member of Destiny World Outreach Center, watching movies, doing hair, and above all being a mother and Mimi. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her daughters, Quantice Deasia Washington Turner, Quantique Deasja Washington, Quantivia Desjanae Washington, all of Harker Heights, Siasja Naeanna Washington, Siavionne Nisjay Washington, both of Victoria, and her step daughter, Ay'Maya V. McClellan Washington of Arlington; her grandchildren, Anias Turner, Ce'Aynayast'e Stewart and Keanu Washington; and her brother Rashad Bates of Noxapater, Mississippi.
