Kyla June Earnest

Kyla June Earnest, 21, of Temple passed away on October 6, 2018 at her residence. A visitation will be held at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 10, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Academy with Pastor Brent Boatwright officiating burial will follow at Pendleton Cemetery in Pendleton. Kyla, the only daughter of Marlyn and Mary Earnest was born on May 29, 1997 in Temple. She was a bubbly sweet little girl. She attended elementary and middle school in Academy and graduated high school from Troy High School in 2015.Kyla was almost finished completing her Degree at Temple Junior College with an Associates in Applied Science in Computer Technology. She loved animals and even showed rabbits in F.F.A and 4H. She enjoyed horses, all types of art, four wheelers, go carts, dirt bikes, photo editing, and videography. Kyla was full of life, gentle, kind, and so talented. She will be so dearly missed. Kyla is survived by her loving parents, Marlyn and Mary Earnest of Temple; her uncles; Robert Carroll of Lampasas, Paul Carroll of Moody; David Carroll of Lampasas, Jimmy Earnest of Temple, Doug and wife Leatha Earnest of Lufkin; her Aunts, Verne Anne Hurst of Temple, Doris and husband Billy Bagette of Missouri, Kay Earnest of Leander; numerous cherished cousins and friends. Preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. June and Mary Anne Carroll, Pete and Marzell Earnest, and Cotton Holcombe; her aunts, Francis Aberegg , Darlene Carroll, and Mary Ann Earnest; her uncle, Harold Aberegg and Frank Raymond.
