Kishor Makan, 72, of Temple passed away peacefully at a Temple hospital on Thursday, May 7, 2015 surrounded by his family and friends. A celebration of Kishor's life will be held by family and friends on Saturday May 9 from 2-5p.m. at the family home in Temple, Texas located at 4124 Birch Circle. Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton is in charge of arrangements. Kishor is survived by his wife, Prabha, daughter Preeti, sons Chetan and Hemant, son-in-law Jaideep, his three beautiful grandchildren, Meera, Milan and Sarek, and his grand dog, Shelby, all of whom he loved dearly. Kishor was a quiet and humble man with an unsurpassable work ethic, who never drew attention to himself. For many years, Kishor was an employee at C&H Die Casting in Troy. He always put others before him and was never afraid to go to the back of the line. He passed away as he lived, quietly and with dignity. His ashes will be taken home by his children to South Africa, the country of his birth, to be at rest with his family. Much loved and respected, Kishor will be greatly missed by all of us who knew him. Those wishing to make memorial contributions may do so to their favorite charities.
