Kirk Edward Ogdon

Kirk Edward Ogdon, 67, of Coppers Cove passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at a local hospital. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Central Texas State Veteran Cemetery in Killeen with his uncle Ronald Kirkpatrick officiating. Kirk was born on June 6, 1951 to Edward and Myrtle Ogdon in San Diego, CA. He proudly served in the U.S. Army for over 23 years and retired. Kirk loved motorcycles and race cars. He had his own shop and you would always find him working on them. He was a member of the In Country Motorcycle Club member for many years. He is survived by his sons, Shalako Edward Ogdon of Kempner, and Jason W. Ogdon of Belton; his daughter, Sunsurie Barnes of Jonesboro; his brothers, Kraig Ogdon of Albuquerque, NM, Mack Ogdon of Belton, and Billy Ogdon of Austin; his sister, Darlene Ogdon of Mexia; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Kirk was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Myrtle Ogdon; his wife, Frances Ogdon in May 2018, and his sister, Karen Jean Morgan.
