Kenneth Smith Jr

Kenneth Smith, Jr., 73, of Killeen, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at a Temple hospital. A memorial service will be held at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. Kenneth Smith Jr. was born September 19, 1943 to Kenneth and Lorraine Smith in Alexandria, Louisiana. Kenneth served in the United States Army as a non-commissioned officer and chief warrant officer. He retired in 1997. He was a member of Keys Valley Baptist Church of Belton. Mr. Smith was a member of the Masons Lodge 1125 of Killeen. He enjoyed hunting and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his son, Kristopher Smith of DeRidder, LA; his daughter Paeton Burkett, of Denham Springs, LA; his sisters, Sandra Curry, of Arlington, TX and Cynthia McNay, of Houston, TX. He was preceded in death by his brother, James Smith in 1987. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
