Katy Pauline Smith

Katy Pauline Smith, 88, of Belton passed away at her residence, early Sunday morning, December 18, 2016 surrounded by her family. Private family services will be held at a later date. Her body was cremated. She was born on September 8, 1928 in Vienna, West Virginia to R.R. and Eleanor (Mullen) Cheuvront . Katy was a homemaker. She loved to read books and word puzzles. She loved playing cards while spending time with family and friends. She will be missed dearly. Survivors are two sons, Craig Smith and wife, Kathy of Belton and Stan Smith and wife, Liz of Belton; two daughters, Deboraha Morgan and husband, Eric of Belton and Jerri Lynn Miller and husband, Frank of Prairieville, Louisiana; one brother, Billy Cheuvront of Washington and four half brothers; one sister , Eleanor Carpenter of West Virginia; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Charity of Choice. Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton is in charge of arrangements.
