Katherine Pearson

Katherine "Kay" Nell Pearson, 85, of Killeen passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at her residence.

Kay was born on October 11, 1931, to Fred and Emma Lee in Waco.

She was the children's department manager at Bealls for many years and sold Avon. She was a social butterfly and in the last few years she enjoyed working as a greeter at Walmart in Killeen on Lowes Blvd. Kay loved collecting angels, dancing with the TASA group, country music, and spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church in Killeen.

She is preceded in death by her two brothers, Louie Lee and Jamiel Lee, and her sister, Marie Lane.

Kay is survived by her son, Jeffrey Pearson of Killeen; her daughter, Debra Squires of Killeen; her granddaughter, Christi Tredemeyer and husband, Andrew of Georgetown, and three great grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 6, 2017, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, August 7, 2017, at Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Pastor David Leach and Pastor Don Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at North Belton Cemetery in Belton.
