Kateryna Kulinich Williams,34, of Harker Heights passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021, at a local hospital.
A visitation for kat will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021, from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 P.M. at Crotty Funeral Home with Chaplain H.K Ballard officiating. Following services her body will be cremated.
Kat was born on March 22, 1987, to Yuriy Kulinich and Liliya Vassiliev in Ukraine. She enjoyed painting, cooking, spending time with friends, and funny movies. Kat joined the U.S Army in 2006. She served for over fifteen years and had a very successful military career. Kat received several awards, and she was even a Purple Heart recipient for her brave service in Afghanistan. Kat was a great leader and ranked #1 in her unit for three years in a row. For as tough as Kat had to be in the field, she was so gentle to those that knew her. Kat was so comforting and was always the one who knew what you needed. Her family will always miss her way of always being there when they needed her and her contagious beautiful laugh.
Kat is preceded in death by her father, Yuriy Kulinich.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Liliya Vassiliev and Michael Vassiliev of San Jose, CA; her sister, Sasha Vassiliev of San Jose, her brothers and sisters in arms, and numerous relatives and friends.
Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
