Kathy Jewel Moore, born on July 14, 1967, in Temple, Texas, peacefully passed away on December 29, 2024, in the same city she called home. A dedicated caregiver for Girling Health Care until 2023, Karen devoted her life to the well-being of others, showcasing her compassion and commitment in every aspect of her work.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Kathy's family remained her foremost priority throughout her life. She cultivated countless cherished memories, particularly those spent with her loved ones during the holidays. Known for her love of the lake life and family barbecues, Kathy's hobbies reflected her deep appreciation for quality time with family, which remained a cornerstone of her life.

Kathy is survived by her six sons: Larry Hatter Jr. of Belton, Anthony Moore of Temple, Joey Moore of Pendleton, Casey Moore of Nolanville, Cody Moore of Temple, and Billy Moore of Parker, Colorado. Her legacy continues through her 17 grandchildren, each representing a cherished part of her life, whom she adored wholeheartedly.

She is also survived by three brothers: Nicky Walker Jr. of Belton, Roy Walker of Belton, and Eugene Schaffer of Temple, who will remember her fondly.

Kathy was preceded in death by one son, Daniel Hatter, who passed away in 2021, and one daughter, Crystal Hatter, who left this world in 1984. Their memories remained close to her heart and added depth to her unwavering love for her remaining family.

In her passing, Kathy leaves behind a rich tapestry of love, dedication, and family pride, a true testament to her character and the impact she made on those around her. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
