Judy Ragsdale

Judy Ragsdale, 74, of Temple passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at her residence.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at 2:00 at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery with Georgia Risenhoover officiating.

Judy Ragsdale was born on June 14, 1948, to Samuel Franklyn Barr and Rosella Hackney in Alice, Texas.  Judy attended Alice High School and Pensacola Junior College where she received her associates in science. 

She married her loving husband of 48 years, Sammy Ragsdale on December 16, 1973, in Alice, Texas.  Judy spent her life being a homemaker, she loved cooking, and most of all spending time with her family, kids, grandkids, and great grandkids.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Franklyn Barr and Rosella Hackney and son, Paul Charron.

Judy is survived by her husband, Sammy Ragsdale of Temple; her sons, Daniel Charron and wife Cynthia of Victoria, Donald Charron and wife Sheila of Temple; her daughter Elizabeth Ash of Temple; her brother, Bill Barr of Bloomington; and sister, Brenda Elliot of Virginia Beach; fourteen grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
