Judy Estelle Bridges A Going Home Party for Judy E. Bridges. 66, of Belton will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at First Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ, 117 N Birdwell Street in Belton. Pastor Arthur Washburn will officiate. Mrs. Bridges passed away at her home on September 26, 2014. She was born May 25, 1948, in Youngsport, TX to William Allen and Mavis Leota (Haddock) Turnbo. She was a lifelong resident of Belton, attended Belton schools and was raised in faith at Miller Heights Baptist Church. She married George D. Bridges on September 4, 1964 and they celebrated 50 years together this year. Together, they raised two daughters, Vicky and Stacey. Mrs. Bridges worked at K-Mart in Temple for 26 years in receiving and management. She is preceded in death by her sister Joyce Smith. She is survived by her husband George, daughters Vicky Bowden and Stacey Fisher (all of Belton); sister, Janis Simonds, of Belton; brother Donnie Turnbo of Corsicana; five grandchildren, April Yarbourgh, David Estes, Derek Bridges, Kayla Fletcher and Kortni Fisher; and seven great grandchildren.
