Juan De Dios Valerio,74, of Temple passed away on Wednesday November 17, 2021 at a Temple hospital.
Services will be held at 11:00A.M. Wednesday November 24rd at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Temple with Father Amado Ramos officiating.
Visitation will be on Tuesday November 23nd from 5:00 until 7:00P.M. Rosary recited at 7:00P.M. at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton.
Juan was born on March 8, 1947, to Juan and Concepcition Lara Valerio Sr. He married Dora Botello on at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Temple on June 22, 1968. He worked as a machine operator for the Rail Road until his retirement in 2007.
Juan loved taking pictures and was an artist that loved spending time with his family and friends and painting them on many occasions. He will be missed dearly.
Survivors are his wife, Dora Valerio of Belton; two sons, Juan Adolfo Valerio of Temple; Isaac Valerio of Austin; one daughter, Patricia Watkins of Alexandria, LA.; three brothers, Charlie Valerio, Jesse Valerio Sr. of Temple and Samuel Rodriguez of Midland, Texas; three sisters, Carmen Valerio of Nolanville, Antonia Cummings of Temple and Helen Hernandez of Temple.; eight grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Our Lady Guadalupe Catholic Church in Temple.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple.
Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton is in charge of arrangements.
