Joseph “Shane” Jacobs, 57, of Burnet, Texas passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 in Marble Falls.

 

A viewing for Shane will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022, from 12:30 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton with Marshall Bishop officiating. Burial will follow at North Belton Cemetery.

 

Joseph “Shane” Jacobs was born on November 3, 1964, to Albert “Taylor” and Edwinna (Capps) Jacobs in Temple. Shane graduated from Temple High School and went on to serve in his country in the United States Army. He worked as a welder for Highland Lake Quality Casting for over 27 years. Shane enjoyed welding art pieces, fishing, riding his motorcycle and spending time with family and friends. He had a huge heart and will be greatly missed.

 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert “Taylor” and Edwinna (Capps) Jacobs, his brothers, Butch Holder and Bob Holder.

 

Shane is survived by his sister, Ann Bishop and husband, Marshall of Belton, one niece and one nephew.

 

Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
