His sisters, Carmela Laureano of Cameron, Rosa Campos of Denver, CO, and Azusena Puente of Fresnillo, Zacatecas, also carry  his memory.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Timoteo Campos Sr. and Rosa Campos Gonzalez. Jose now joins his beloved son, Jose de Jesus Campos Jr., and brothers, Eraclio Campos Gonzalez and Leonel Campos in eternal rest.
