Johnnie ‘Cook’ Crocker’s legacy didn’t come to an end with his death. Johnnie was 60 years old when he passed on Monday, May 30, 2022, unexpectedly. His family will continue to honor his legacy of living in the moment wherever they go and living their life with happiness and fun for him.
Those who knew him well would say, Johnnie was a free spirt. He was always smiling and ready for a party. No matter where Johnnie went he was going to be the life of the party and he was going to make sure that everyone had a good time. He was extremely funny and his laugh and smile were infectious. Johnnie, known to many as Cook or JC, was born in Belton, Texas on March 15, 1962 by his parents Jimmy and Jaine Crocker. He moved to Killeen, TX with his mother for most of his life. He grew up with his siblings there and they all had a very close bond. Johnnie was a Jack of all Trades and began work at a mobile home company and eventually became self employed in a home repair business.
Johnnie is survived by his mother Janie Crocker and siblings Jimmy Crocker, Janet Crocker, Jeff Crocker and Jesse Lopez. He is also survived by various nieces and nephews. Johnnie will be joining his Father Jimmy Crocker, his sisters Gina Crocker and Jennifer Crocker, his late aunt Virgie De Jésus, uncles Rufus Chavez and Albert Perez and his grandmother Ruth De Jésus in his next great adventure.
Johnnie’s Viewing will be Wednesday June 15, 2022 at 5-7 pm followed by a private Ceremony for the family. The Viewing will be held at Crotty Funeral Home located 5431 US Hwy 190 Belton, TX 76531 call (245)-933 0900 for more information
