Joe Ben Beasley

Joe Ben Beasley, 67, of Temple passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at his residence in Temple. Private family services will be held at a later date. His body was cremated. Joe Beasley was born on January 31, 1949 in Bland, TX to JC and Mildred Owens Beasley. He joined the military in 1969 serving in the U.S. Army. He was self-employed in commercial construction. He married Kay Baggerly on December 29, 1985, in Belton. Some of his hobbies were western movies and spending time with his family and friends. Survivors are his loving wife, Kay Beasley, of Temple; two sons, Daniel Anders, of Belton and Joseph Beasley, of Moffat; two step sons, Jason Thompson, of Georgetown and Joshua Thompson, of MO; two daughters, Wendy Shine, of Copperas Cove and Amy Thompson, of Moffat; two brothers, Charles Beasley, of Kerrville and Jerry Beasley, of Houston; two sisters, Sue Aycock, of Moody and Cindy Ayers, of The Grove, and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, JC Beasley Jr. Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services, of Belton, are in charge of arrangements.
