J.L. (Jay) Cauthen Jr. , 79, of Belton passed away on Tuesday September 5, 2017 at his residence. A visitation will be held from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Keys Valley Baptist Church in Belton. Private family services will be held at a later date. His body was cremated. J.L. (Jay) Cauthen was born on September 27, 1937 in EL Paso, Texas to J.L. Cauthen Sr. and Earla B. Cauthen. He is survived by his wife Jeanne of Belton and his son, John Scott Cauthen of Aurora, CO., daughter Caroline Hendrickson of Littleton, CO. and step-daughter Regina Kohler of Chicago, IL. ; one brother, Dr. Don B.
