Jesus Maria Rodriguez Jr, 75, of Belton passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2019 in the comfort of his home. Jesus was born to Antonia and Jesus Rodriguez Sr. on September 8, 1944 in Laredo, Texas. He spent his days working in maintenance for Belton ISD. Jesus was a deacon and minister, having been saved in 1994 and spending 25 years in the church and serving the Lord. Visitation for Jesus will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at New Jerusalem Church in Belton with Pastor Albert Ortiz officiating. Cremation will take place following services. Jesus is survived by his wife of 38 years, Elena Rodriquez of Belton; his mother, Antonia Rodriguez; his son, Humberto Rodriguez Jr. of Temple; his daughters, Sandra Rodriguez of Michigan, Sally Grimaldo of Ohio, Anneliese Rodriguez of Michigan, Elaine Guerro of Michigan, Jessica Rivas of Belton, Erica Hernandez of Temple, Sonya Rodriguez of Belton, and Gabriela Rodriguez of Belton; his brothers, Adalberto Rodriguez of Laredo, Humberto Rodriguez of Belton, Silverio Rodriquez of Temple, and Rigoberto Rodriguez of Laredo; his sisters, Eudelia Aguilar of Laredo, Ernestina Morales of Laredo, Evangelina Rodriguez of Temple, Veronia Vela of Laredo, and Melissa Rodriguez of Belton; his twenty-six grandchildren; and his twenty-two great grandchildren. Jesus is preceded in death by his son, Jesus Maria Rodriguez III. Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
