Jesse William Jackson, 68, of Belton, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2025, in Belton, Texas. He was born on March 30, 1956, in Beaumont, Texas, to Robert Jackson and Melba Caples Buntyn.
He worked many years as a dedicated truck driver before his well-earned retirement.
Jesse will be remembered fondly for his love of watching television, often accompanied by a cold Coke. He took great pride in his family, cherishing the time he spent with them.
He is survived by two daughters, Jacy Juergens and her husband Brandon of Temple, and Stephanie Watson and her husband Shawn Willson of Kingsland. He is also survived by his son, Sean Jackson of Llano; a brother, Richard Jackson and wife Linda; a sister, Kathleen Calarco; nine grandchildren: Kolton, Kaylee, Callie, Tyler, Emori, Heron, Addie, Anna, and Amy; and two great-grandchildren.
Jesse is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Jackson and Melba Caples Buntyn .
A graveside service will be held to honor Jesse’s life on April 12, 2025, at Wagram Cemetery in Fredonia, Texas, beginning at 11:00 AM.
His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
