Jerald Wayne York

Jerald Wayne York, 63, of Temple passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at a local nursing home. Jerald was born to Jean and James York on August 26, 1957 in Temple, Texas. He worked as an auto mechanic. Jerald was a Golden Gloves champion and coached at-risk youth in boxing. He was an incredible father and was dearly loved by family and many friends.

Jerald is survived by his daughter, Jeri York; his son, Jordan York; two brothers, James and Randy York; his seven grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Jerald is preceded in death by his mother, Jean Evelyn York; his father James Robert York; and his brother, Gene York.
