Jeff Alan Black

Jeffrey Alan Black, 60, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at a local hospital. A Celebration of Jeff's Life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Heritage Country Church in Salado with Pastor Billy Johnson officiating. Jeff was born on September 10, 1957 to Charles and Janet Black. He graduated from O.D. Wyatt in 1976. Jeff spent the first part of his adult life as a golf pro in Fort Worth and finished at Ace Pest Control in Salado. He was a sports fanatic and could list the stats of almost any player. Jeff enjoyed fishing, cooking, and playing poker with his buddies. He loved spending time with his grandkids, great niece, and nephew. Jeff will be dearly missed He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Janet Black. Jeff Is survived by his daughter, Marci Stabeno and husband, Chris of Burleson; his grandchildren, Mikah and Anna Stabeno of Burleson; his sister, Jaynee Wilson and husband, Joe of Georgetown; his brothers, Steve Black and wife, Barbara, and Mike Black and wife, Libby, all of Fort Worth; his niece, Jodee Preston and husband, David of Salado; his nephews, Josh Wilson of Beaumont, and Coleman Black of Fort Worth; his great nephew, Jacob Preston and his great niece, Reese Preston.
