Jeanie Ellen Yarnell

Jeanie Ellen Yarnell, 73, of Belton moved onto grace on November 3rd, 2021, at a Temple hospital surrounded by her family & friends.

Jeanie was cremated, according to her wishes she will be laid to rest with her loving husband of more than 30 years at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas.  The date will be announced at a later time. 

Jeanie was born on October 9, 1948, in Augsburg, Germany to John and Hilde Mohrenweiser Nichols.  She married the love of her life, Marvin Joseph Yarnell in 1990, he preceded her on September 2, 2019.  She worked as a paralegal and was a wonderful sister, wife, mother of two children and grandmother to four precious grandchildren.

Jeanie enjoyed crafts, crocheting, singing gospel music, playing games, watching/making videos and reading her bible.  She loved life and was always willing to help just like the Angel she was.  She lived on the same property as her children and loved spending time with them as well as her precious grandchildren.  She always looked forward to time spent with her brothers and sisters as well.  She lived as an Angel that loved spending time and making everlasting memories with her family and friends. She will be missed dearly by all those who survived her.

Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Yarnell on September 2, 2019; Jeanie is survived by her sons, David Austin, and wife, Havala and Greg Von-Hagel, all of Belton; her brothers, John Nichols Jr. of Temple, J.R. Nichols Jr. of Oklahoma, and Kenny Nichols of Illinois; her sisters, Michelle Cantu of Belton, Raini Painter of Belton, and Ginger Yakey of Illinois, four cherished grandchildren, and numerous family members and friends.
