Jay Edward Price

Jay Edward Price, 61, of Temple passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at his residence.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date.

Jay Edward Price was born on December 14, 1961, to Jay Dennis Price and Esther Hodson in Baltimore, Maryland. He served in the U.S. Army and later retired. He was proud of serving his country and was always patriotic. Jay worked for Johnson Oil in Temple for many years. He married Brenda Shores on December 12, 2003, in Temple. Jay was always a hard worker. He enjoyed fishing, his dogs, and talking to his brother, Dennis. Jay was all about family. He was a very loving father and grandfather. His family will miss him dearly.

Jay is preceded in death by his mom, Esther Hodson.

Jay is survived by his wife, Brenda Price of Temple; his father, Jay Dennis Price and wife, Sandy of Kokomo, IN; his daughter, Susan McCombs and husband, Jon of Spring; his brother, Dennis Price of Colorado and his two grandchildren, Katelynn McCombs and Jack McCombs of Spring.
