Janet Myles

Janet Myles, 61, of Waco passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at a Methodist Medical Center in Mansfield, Texas. Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday July 9, 2016 at Union Baptist District Association Tabernacle Church in Waco with Pastor John D. Washington Sr. officiating. Janet Myles was born on June 8, 1955 to Porter Thomas and Esther Hamilton. She married Elgene Myles on February 14, 1993 and he preceded her in death in 1994. She was a homemaker and educator. She worked for Waco ISD as a school bus driver and retired in 2000. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She was a member of Church of the First Born New Beginning. Survivors are two daughters, Kizzy Mayes and husband, Vernard and Krissy James and husband ,Larry D. all of Waco; five brothers, John D. Washington Sr. of Whitehall, TX., Joe Williams of Temple, TX., Eric Washington of Dallas, TX., Anthony Washington of Waco and Kieth Washington of Arlington,TX.; four grandchildren Elijah, Isaiah,Esther B. and James Jr. (Cole).
