Jamie Lynn Smith

Jamie Lynn Smith, 65, of Harker Heights passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at his residence. Jamie was born to Mary Lou and Shelly Smith on November 9, 1954 in Temple, Texas. He worked in construction. He was such a caring man who loved being with his family, especially his grandson, going with him to every cancer treatment. Jamie also enjoyed fishing and barbequing. His family knew him as the ""Dancing Bear."" Jamie will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Jamie is survived by his sons, Travis Smith and Curtis Smith, both of Harker Heights; his daughters, Jami Rene Smith and Jennifer Smith, both of Harker Heights; his brothers, Larry Smith of Troy and Mike Smith of Wharton; his sister, Rene Pogue of Temple; his ten grandchildren; and his two great grandchildren, and one great grandchild on the way, due in November. Jamie is preceded in death by his parents. Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
