James Harris

James Glen Harris,62, of Belton passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at his residence.

Funeral service for James will 2 P.M. Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Temple Bible Church in Temple with Pastor Shannon Soard officiating. Graveside service will follow at North Belton Cemetery in Belton.

James Glen Harris was born on January 20, 1961 to James Edward Harris and Susie Faye Harris in Belton. He attended Belton High School and was proud to be a drummer for the Marching 100. He graduated in 1979. James worked for Wilson Art for over twenty-six years. On March 12, 2005 James married the love of his life, Lisa Townley. He enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling, and attending church at Temple Bible Church in Temple. He loved spending time with his family and loved the Lord. James was such a loving caring man and his family finds comfort in knowing there is no question he is in Heaven.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James Edward Harris and Susie Faye Harris.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Lisa Harris of Belton; his son, John Harris and his wife, Lawren of Temple; his daughter, Emily Sebek and her husband, Jordan of Rogers; his sister, Debbie Harris and her Husband Robert Weisert of Belton; his four grandchildren, Jaxon Sebek, Conner Sebek, Zander Sancedio, Lukah Sancedio, many cherished family members, and friends.

Visitation will be held at 5:00 P.M to 7:00 P.M. on Friday, March 24, 2023 at Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Belton.
