James ""Tevis"" Cannon, 53, of Nolanville passed away December 26, 2017 at a local hospital. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 03, 2018 at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery. James was born on October 30, 1964 in Texarkana, Arkansas. James served in the U.S. Army and was a very proud veteran. He enjoyed fishing. He loved his Harley Davidson, his beloved dogs, Missy and Poppie, and sitting in his recliner watching the outdoor channel. Family was the most important thing to him, blood or not. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his loving wife, Connie Cannon, of Nolanville; a son, James Tevis Cannon III, of Bryan College Station; a Stepson, Robert Andrew Monk, of Ga; two step daughters, Tristany Sumpler, of Nolanville and Mary Sheets, of Fort Worth; a brother, John ""Jack"" Cannon, of Kansas; two sisters, Judy Kirby, of Pottsboro and Carolyn Doczi, of Dallas; and two grandchildren.
