Jacob Ryan Jones

Jacob Ryan Jones, 18, of Harker Heights, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at a Temple hospital. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at St. Luke Catholic Church in Temple with Father Richard O'Rourke, Father Ranjan Cletus and Father James Ekeocha officiating. A rosary will be recited at 8:00 P.M. Friday March 14, 2014 at St. Luke Catholic Church in Temple. Jacob Ryan Jones was born on July 21, 1995 in Colorado Springs, CO to Ryan Speegle and Jennifer Jones. He graduated from Harker Heights High School in 2013. He was a member of St. Paul Chong Hasang Catholic Church. Jacob was an artist and musician who loved sculpting, drawing, painting, and playing the drums. He loved spending time with family and friends. Jacob brought joy and laughter to all who knew him and will be dearly missed. Survivors are his parents, Ryan Speegle of Cedar Park, TX and Jennifer Jones Dorsey of Morgan's Point Resort, TX; two brothers, Gunnar Speegle of Cedar Park and Jackson Dorsey of Morgan's Point Resort; one sister, Julia Jones of Temple; grandparents, Dr. Jeff and Deborah Jones of Temple, Terry Nordquist and ReBecca Speegle, and his uncle, Chris Jones, all of Amarillo; great grandmother, Jennie Jones of Harker Heights, TX.
