Jackie Lynn Bowden

Jackie Lynn (Jack) Bowden, 63, of Belton passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at a local hospital. A private family memorial service will be held on Monday, April 16, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery. Jack was born on Sept. 7, 1954 to Jessie and Leona Bowden Sr. in Belton, Texas. Jack served in the United States Navy and worked for Ranger Boats. He loved rock and roll, to hunt, fish, and spending time with his family. Jack was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law and uncle. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. Jack is preceded in death by his parents Jessie (Jim) Bowden Sr. and Leona Ivey-Bowden, two brothers, Ronnie Freeman Bowden and Jesse Freeman Bowden Jr. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Rainwater-Bowden, two sons, Joshua and Matthew Bowden, two daughters, Katie and Deeanna Bowden, one brother, Billy Jo Bowden, and one sister, Rebecca Jean (Becky) Fry, ten grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
