Jackie Laster Billingsley

Jackie (Laster) Billingsley, 71, 0f Temple passed away on Wednesday September 19, 2012 at a Temple hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Bellwood Memorial Park with Pastor Basilio Montez officiating. Her body was cremated. She was born on August 8, 1941 in Monroe, Louisiana to Jack and Verdell (Jones) McMillion. She married She married Bill Laster on August 17, 1957 and he preceded her on July 30, 1987. She married James Billingsley on June 4, 1988 in Temple. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church of Temple. Her hobbies included playing the piano and guitar. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family. She had a wonderful sense of humor. Survivors are her husband, James Billingsley of Temple; two sons, Bill Laster and David Laster both of Belton; three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Ricky Laster on September 13, 2009. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
