Harvey Harley Peterson

Harvey Harley Peterson, 70, of Killeen passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 in the comfort of his home. Harvey was born to Vernor and Adaline Peterson on August 26, 1948 in Salina, Kansas. He married his wife Chong in Korea on September 19, 1983. He was a retired United States Army veteran who served for his country in the Vietnam war. Harvey enjoyed fishing, playing poker, and spending time with his family. Visitation for Harvey will be held on Friday, June 28, 2019 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton. Funeral service officiated by Pastor Jeff Ball will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Crotty Funeral Home. Harvey is survived by his wife Chong; his children, Linda Peterson, Jenny Huckabee, Wendy Wann, Wanda Charland, Vicki Sullivan, Nicky Rojas, and JR Peterson; his siblings, Lennice V. Peterson, Nettie Wann and husband Harold, George Peterson, Nancy Dugan, Mary Reed and husband Charles, Harold Peterson and wife Pamela, and Ray Peterson and wife Peggy; and his grandchildren, Lily Peterson, Hailey Huckabee, Lane Huckabee, and Brett Hartzell, among many other grandchildren and great grandchildren. Harvey is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Shirley and husband Dean Johnson, the wife of his brother Jean Peterson, and the husband of his sister James Dugan.
