Hannelore Marga (Tetzlaff) Hoffman, 87, of Killeen passed away on June 10, 2017 surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Private family services will be held at a later date. She was born June 12, 1929 in Nurnberg, Germany. She attended private school where she excelled in Music. She played the piano and accordion. She also attended business school and did the bookkeeping for her Father's family business until 1943 when the family home and business were bombed. On Oct. 30, 1952 she married Emil Rudolf Hoffman in Nurnberg. They moved to the U.S. where she dedicated her life to serving her husband and 5 children. She enjoyed reading, cooking, knitting, gardening, lively conversations about current affairs, shopping at the PX and the Commissary at Fort Hood. She was preceded in death by her Husband Emil Rudolf ""Kraut""Hoffman; Parents Theresa (Wirth) Tetzlaff and Albert Tetzlaff; Brothers Albert Tetzlaff and Horst Tetzlaff; Sister Edith (Tetzlaff) Hahn; Brother-in-laws Hans Hahn, Adolf Hoffmann and Alvin Hoffmann; Sister-in-law Ella (Hoffmann) Jahns; Daughter Eleonore Eva (Hoffman) Houghtaling. Survivors are her Sister Ruth (Tetzlaff) Carreker and Brother-in-law Alton Carreker; Sister-in-law Annie Hoffmann; Children Emil Dale Hoffman, Dan Albert Hoffman, Tom Edwin Hoffman, Lore Liese (Hoffman) Neal; Son-in-laws James Houghtaling and Randy Neal; Daughter-in-laws Sheri Hoffman and Peggy Hoffman; Grandchildren Wesley, Missy, Brook, Lindsey, Curtis, Matt, Lena, Derrick, Eric, Kristin and Katie; Great Grandchildren Nic, Abbey, Casey, Oliver, Lauren, Lacey, Walker, Bodie, Hayes and Graham.
