Grover Eaton

Graveside services for Grover Clifton Eaton, 85, of Temple will be 10 AM Thursday, October 27, 2022, at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery with pastor Garber officiating.

Grover died Friday October 14, 2022, at a veterans nursing home in Temple.

He was born August 20, 1937, to Walter Solomon Eaton and Ruth Brown in New Bern, North Carolina. He married Tam Le in 1974, she preceded him in death in 2017. Grover served in the United States Army for 20 years retiring in 1975. He was a member of Northside Baptist church in Nolanville.

Grover was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Tam Le Eaton; a brother Benjamin Solomon Eaton and a sister, Annie Mayo Williams.

Survivors include a son, David Eaton of Plano, Texas; two daughters, Mary Bishop and husband Bryan, of Decatur, Texas and Lilly Chrismer of Missouri and six grandchildren.

Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
