Gordon E. Fisher

Gordon Edward Fisher, 64, of Temple formerly of Salado passed away on Thursday October 20, 2016 at his home peacefully surrounded by his family. Visitation will be held on Friday ,October 28, 2016 from 5:00 -7:00P.M. at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton. His body was cremated. Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday October 29, 2016 at Pace Park Pavillion in Salado. Gordon Edward Fisher was born on September 27, 1952 in Cameron, Texas to Joe and Lois Price Fisher. He married Cynthia McGregor on April 28, 1978 in Salado, He loved fishing, hunting and camping. He loved being outdoors but most of all spending time with his family and friends. He worked at Wilson Art and retired on November 9, 2009 after 33 years of service. Survivors are his wife Cindy Fisher of Salado; one son Matthew Fisher of Salado; two daughters, Alithea Peltier Berger of Katy and Adrienne Fisher of Belton; one brother, Darrell Fisher of Hallsburg, Texas; five grandchildren and one great grandchiild. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Joe M. Fisher. Memorials may be made to ALS Association-TX Chapter 1315 Sam Bass Circle, STE B-5 Round Rock, Texas 78665.
