Glenda Grace Leatherwood

Glenda Grace Leatherwood, 75, of Belton passed away on Friday, April 7, 2017 at her residence. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Glenda was born on September 4, 1941 to Thomas and Annie Rountree in Wood County. She loved to sew and made most of her son's clothes when he was younger. Her son has many memories of them working together on the dairy farm located outside of Quitman. She loved caring for other and in more recent years she worked as a caregiver for several children. Glenda loved to quilt, do word puzzles, and spend time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Michael Allen Leather wood of Belton; her grandchildren, Michael David Leatherwood, Joshua Allen Leatherwood, Julie Grace Leatherwood,Leta Jane Mills, Joseph Wayne Mills; great grandchildren, Kylie Marie Leatherwood,Chelsea Leatherwood,Katlin RAE Styczynski, and Joseph Michael Styczynski. Glenda is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Annie Rountree; her son, Barry Lynn Leatherwood; her sisters, Pat Rountree and Annie Rountree.
