Gladys ""Faye"" Blackman

Gladys ""Faye"" Blackman, 91, of Florence, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, July 4, 2016. A visitation will be held Thursday, July 7, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Crotty Funeral home located at 5431 W. U.S. Hwy 190 in Belton. Funeral Services for Faye will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, July 8, 2016 at Victory Baptist Church located at 13295 FM 2843 in Salado with Pastor Billy Borho officiating. A burial will follow at Land Cemetery in Jarrell. Gladys ""Faye"" Blackman was born on June 28, 1925 to Luther and Vernie Moore in Florence. She married Ollie Blackman in 1966. Faye cared for her mother for many years. She was a homemaker most of her life. Faye was a member of Victory Baptist Church. She loved to go for walks, reading, her pets, and spending time with her family. Faye is preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Vernie; her loving husband, Ollie Blackman; her three brothers, Cecil Moore, Clifford Moore,and Charles Moore. Gladys ""Faye"" Blackman is survived by her son, Ernest R. Isaack; her daughter, Brenda and her husband, DeWayne Montgomery; close family friend, Michael Yarbrough; eight grandchildren, Angela and her husband, Sam Mandelstein, Edwin Isaack, Alicia Isaack, Michael Yarbrough Jr., April Yarbrough, Payton Montgomery, and Tristan Montgomery; three great grandchildren, Keilee Langlitz, Elizabeth Isaack, and Sarah Isaack; two brothers, Alvin Moore and wife, June, Richard Moore and wife Merle; along with several nieces and nephews.
