Garry Lindsey Skinner, a loving son, brother and friend, passed away on February 1, 2024, in his hometown of Belton. He was born on February 8, 1958, in Mineral Wells, Texas to Betty Skinner and the late Howard A. Skinner.
Garry was a quiet soul who could be a force to be reckoned with. He was known for his impeccable work ethic beginning with delivering the Killeen Daily Herald on his bicycle as a kid, until recently working as a fixed wing aircraft electronics technician, with training and skills he learned in the Navy.
Garry lived NASCAR and the Dallas Cowboys, not necessarily in that order! He was a very private man who a had few close friends, and many acquaintances, but held his close friends tightly. He will be sorely missed by his family and those he held close.
He’s reunited now with his father and loved ones that went before. He is now free of a body that no longer served him. fly high FREEBIRD.
