Floyd E. Daniel Jr., 67, of Waco passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2020 at a local hospital. Floyd was born to Betty and Floyd Daniel Sr. on October 10, 1952 in Fort Worth, Texas. Floyd married his loving and devoted wife, Pamela Ray, on June 8, 1973 in Fort Worth. He earned an Associate degree in Graphic Design and Gunsmithing from Murray State College. Floyd spent many years working as a heavy machine operator for Grayson, Denton, and McLennan counties from which he retired. Floyd was a gunsmith and a grill master. He was an avid fisherman and loved to swim in his pool. You could find him rooting for any football team but the Dallas Cowboys. Floyd was a simple man, and a caring ""papaw"" who loved to spend time with his family. A memorial service for Floyd will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Speegleville Baptist Church in Waco. Floyd is survived by his wife of 47 years, Pam Daniel of Waco; his son Thomas Floyd Daniel of Denton, and his grandson whom he raised Jonathan Thomas (JT) Daniel of Waco; his daughter, Angela Carter and husband DeWayne of Sherman; his granddaughters, Madison (Madi) Carter and Mackenzie (Kiki) Carter; his grandson Jacob Daniel of Denton; and numerous family members and friends. Floyd is preceded in death by his parents, Betty J Daniel and Floyd E Daniel Sr. Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
