Fernando Ramirez Sotelo

Fernando Ramirez Sotelo, 63, of Harker Heights passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021 in the comfort of his home. Fernando was born to Maria Dela Luz and Jose Ramirez on November 6, 1957 in Del Rio, Texas. He worked as a stone mason for many years. Fernando enjoyed watching western movies, things from the 70’s, and spending time with his family. He was often found with Edgefield Reds 100’s.

A memorial service for Fernando will be held on Friday, July 2, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton with Pastor H.K. Ballard officiating.

Fernando is survived by his daughters, Rachel Melendez, Geneva Sotelo, and Julie Sotelo, all of Monahans; his brothers, Joe Ramirez Jr. of Harker Heights, Roy Ramirez of San Angelo, Tony Ramirez of San Angelo, Alfredo Ramirez of Allen; his sisters, Erma Martinez of Salado, Jessica Tinoco of Mexico, Ana Ramirez of Harker Heights, Silvia Gonzalez of Odessa, Rosario Flores of Oklahoma, Elizabeth Sotelo of Harker Heights, and Patricia Walker of Harker Heights; his six grandchildren; one great grandchild; his step-mother, Aricelia Ramirez of Killeen; his aunt Aurora Felan; and many other cherished family members.

Fernando is preceded in death by his mother, Maria Dela Luz Ramirez; his father, Jose Ramirez; his sister, Gloria Dela Luz Ramirez; his brother, Augustine Ramirez; and his grandparents, Margarito Sotelo and Antonio Sotelo.
