Feliciano Compean Jr.

Feliciano Compean Jr., affectionately known to his loved ones as "Chanio," left this world unexpectedly on January 22, 2025, in Belton, Texas. Born on March 15,1980, in Cameron, Texas, Feliciano grew up with a spirit that was deeply rooted in family and friendship.

Chanio's visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Monday, January 27, 2025 at Agape Christian Center in Belton. His funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, and will also be held at Agape Christian Center in Belton followed by his graveside service at Resthaven Cemetery located on Shanklin Rd. in Belton. 

A proud graduate of Belton High School, he dedicated many years of his life to his passion for mechanics, working at Mufflers and More in Belton. Those who had the pleasure of knowing Chanio understood that working on cars, particularly Low rider cars, was not just a hobby for him; it was an expression of his creativity and craftsmanship. The joy he found in fixing and customizing vehicles was only matched by his love and devotion to his family.

Feliciano's caring nature and infectious enthusiasm for life made him a fantastic friend to many. He touched countless hearts with his unwavering support and kindness, always willing to lend a hand or share a laugh. His legacy will undoubtedly live on through the cherished memories he created with those around him.

At the center of Feliciano's world were his beloved children and grandchildren, whom he regarded as his proudest accomplishments. He is survived by his significant other, Crystal Trujillo, and his sons, Feliciano Compean III and Felipe Compean, both of Belton. His daughters, Tina Renee Compean of Temple, and Isabel Maria Compean of Belton, along with six adoring grandchildren, carry forward the love and light he brought into their lives.

Feliciano is also survived by his parents, Feliciano Compean Sr. and Maria Isabel Escalera, who reside in Belton, and his brothers—Gabriel Compean Sr. of Moody, Martin Compean of Cameron, Miguel Compean of Belton, and Armando Compean of Belton. The bond they shared will forever remain a testament to the strong family values that Feliciano held dear.

In this time of grief, we remember a man whose heart was as big as his passion for life. Feliciano Compean Jr. will be dearly missed, but his spirit will continue to resonate through the echo of laughter, the warmth of family gatherings, and the memories that will forever live in our hearts.
