Evelyn Marie Buckner-Miller

Evelyn Marie Buckner-Miller, 60, of Georgetown, Texas, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2016 at The Christopher House in Austin, Texas after a courageous battle with cancer. Evelyn was born January 10, 1956, in San Angelo, Texas, proceeded in death by her parents Robert Buckner and Eva Tingle. Evelyn lived most of her life in the Central Texas area. Before passing Evelyn accomplished her lifelong dream of owning a successful business. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Evelyn is survived by her two daughters and their families; Jennifer and Jason Thompson, of Georgetown, Texas and Michelle and Omar Zamora, of Weatherford, Texas. She is survived by five Grandchildren: Justin Simek, Madison Thompson, Logan Thompson, Samantha Zamora and Dylan Zamora; a brother Rick Buckner; and two sisters, Priscilla Wise and Sherrie Thompson. A private Memorial will be held Friday evening, October 21, 2016. Burial services will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016, at the Berryhill Cemetery, L.B.A, Bastrop, Texas.
