Eloise Winifred Owens Eloise Winifred Owens, 80, of Nolanville passed away Tuesday, September, 24, 2013 at a Temple hospital. A funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 28, 2013 from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Crotty Funeral Home, with Pastor Don Johnson officiating followed by a committal at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Nolanville. A visitation will be held at Crotty Funeral home two hours prior to funeral service. Eloise Winifred Owens was born August 4, 1933 to George and Ester Schoonover in Town Of Wirt, NY. She floated down the Mississippi River all the way Louisiana with Norman Owens and fell in love. They married February 8, 1955. She was in House Keeping most of her life. She was known for being adventurous and always on the go. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Norman Owens in 2002. She is survived by four sons, Richard Schoonover of California, David Schoonover of St. Louis, Missouri, William Owens of Illinois, and James Owens of Arizona; one daughter April Sanchez of Nolanville; two brothers, Fremont Schoonover of Bousier, Louisiana and Thomas Schoonover of New York; two sisters, Mildred Bishop of and Ella Bell Schoonover both of Bradford, PA; eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
