Elizabeth Parris-Phearse, 54 of Killeen, a bright, vibrant, beautiful soul passed away on December 31, 2023.
Elizabeth, the daughter of Kenneth Parris and Gladys Toussaint, was born on December 28, 1969 in
Montreal, QC, she was known for her outgoing and fun personality. She always found happiness in
serving others. Elizabeth worked in hospitality before she found her passion in working as a patient care coordinator and office manager for Dr. Charles Day at Aesthetic Surgery Associates in Harker Heights, she truly loved her job.
One of Elizabeth’s proudest accomplishments was marrying the love of her life, Joe Deray Phearse, on
December 13, 2014 in Montreal, QC. They shared nine wonderful years together as a married couple
filled with love and joy.
Elizabeth had passion for interior design, fashion and making the world more beautiful. Her creativity
and eye for detail were evident in everything she touched. She brought warmth and elegance to the
spaces around her and inspired others to find beauty in their surroundings.
Unfortunately, Elizabeth’s beautiful journey, though she fought bravely against this disease until the
very end with unwavering strength and determination, was cut short due to the return of her cancer.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Parris and her mother, Gladys Toussaint. While
we mourn her loss deeply, we must remember the love and light she brought into our lives.
Elizabeth leaves behind her loving husband of nine years, Joe Phearse; sisters, Lana Parris and her husband Adrian Harewood of Ottawa Ontario, Canada; Sonya Parris of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and Lois Parris of Montreal, Quebec, Canada; her brother, Kenneth Parris and his companion, JoAnne Stoodley of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada; stepson, Joe Phearse, Jr.; godchildren, Connor Lafferty, Parker Harewood, Zoë Harewood and niece, Colleen Lafferty-Fitzpatrick; along with numerous other friends and extended family members. Each one
was touched by Elizabeth’s kindness and caring nature.
Her memory will be forever cherished by all those who knew her. Elizabeth’s warm smile, infectious
energy, and genuine love for life will continue to inspire us. She will be remembered as a
compassionate soul who brightened every room she entered.
