Eliza Ann Rodriguez

Eliza Ann Rodriguez, a beloved daughter, sister, niece, and granddaughter, graced this world with her presence for a brief but profoundly impactful 4 months and 12 days. On April 13, 2025, she left us too soon, but her spirit remains vibrant and inspiring. Born on December 1, 2024, in Temple, Texas, Eliza embodied the essence of youth with her courage, intelligence, and free-spirited nature.

She is lovingly survived by her devoted parents, Andrew Rodriguez and Anessa Johnson, who cherished every moment with her. Her aunts—Angie, Destinee, Suzzet, and Lesley—along with uncle Bill, showered her with affection throughout her life. Eliza’s grandparents, Patricia and Charlie, great grandparents, Robert and Pam, Kathy and Fred and many others held her close in their hearts, creating lasting bonds that transcended generations.

Though her time with us was heartbreakingly short, Eliza carries the memory of her beloved family members, including her sibling, John Johnson SR and John Johnson JR, as well as Melvin and Barbara Bynum, Barbara Ann Canava-Rodriguez, Felicia Rodriguez, Daniel Canava, and others who have touched her family's lives. Their love and memories serve as a testament to the deep connection that family provides, even amidst the pain of loss.

A funeral to celebrate Eliza’s bright spirit will be held at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Family and friends are invited to come together to honor her short but meaningful journey.

While Eliza may not be physically with us, her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who knew her. Her family will cherish the joy she brought into their lives, carrying her memory forward with love and gratitude.

The family of Eliza would like to thank the NICU nurses from Baylor Scott and White Memorial Hospital, Connie, Jordan, Veronica, and Bernie.

 In Lieu of flowers they would like donations made to pay it forward to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services for the next family for their gracious and caring assistance in providing their services for children at no charge and their caring assistance through this entire process.
