Elias Camero Jr., 45, of Marlin passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021. Elias was born to Micaela Diaz and Elias Camero Sr. on August 5, 1975 in Temple, Texas. Elias was a local cowboy who made ranching and farming his career. He enjoyed roping and competing in the Coors circuit as a heeler for many years. He also enjoyed the outdoors, going on many walks with his wife; as well as listening to music and spending time with his family. Elias was dearly loved by his family and will be missed.

Visitation for Elias will be Wednesday, February 3, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton. Graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Rosebud with Pastor Joel Chandler officiating.

Elias is survived by those that knew him as Daddy Elias, Uncle Noonie, and NuNu: his wife, Erra G. Camero; his brother, Henry Camero of Durango; his sisters, Tammie Cobb, and Christine Chandler, both of Chilton; his beloved nieces, Chelsea, Micaela, Emilie, Aubri, Aavrie, and Anndreigh; and his beloved nephews, Kyle, Ashton, and Jayden.

Elias is preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Mary.

Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
